‘I want to choreograph Deepika-Ranveer,’ says ‘DID Super Moms’winner

Mumbai-based Harpreet Khatri who lifted the winner’s trophy of ‘Dance India Dance Super Moms’ season two, wants to choreograph Bollywood’s hit pair and rumoured lovers Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh for a Bollywood film.

“I would love to choreograph Deepika and Ranveer for a Bollywood movie as both of them are great performers and very energetic,” she said.

A trained dancer, Harpreet has worked as an assistant with choreographer duo Bosco-Caesar whom she considers her inspiration, and is now looking forward to work in Bollywood as a full-time choreographer.

“I want to work as a full-time choreographer now. I will grab whatever opportunity comes my way,” Harpreet told P.T.I. She added that before anyone else, she would like to choreograph a song for Govinda, who was a judge on the show alongside Geeta Kapoor and Terence Lewis.

33-year-old Harpreet said her husband's support was the reason behind her success. “I am very thankful to my husband for supporting me throughout my journey in ‘DID’. He was in the US but he kept me motivated.”

“I was completely into DID and my husband was in US. Now when my hard-work has paid off I want to spend time with my family and especially my son,” said the mother of a 22-month-old baby boy.

Harpreet has impressed the judges and audience with her versatility in various dance forms including hip-hop, Bollywood, classical and freestyle.

Harpreet defeated Somya Shree from Karnataka, Sneha Adapawar of Mumbai and Delhi based Dipashree Chatterjee in the finale and emerged the winner of the show. She was awarded a cash prize of Rs five lakh and a contract with Zee TV.
