Aamir Khan at Dus Ka Dum

Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan's simple remark on Maharastra has created much hullabaloo all over. Her comment regarding Marathi language gave an opportunity to the Maharashtra Navnirman leader Raj Thackeray to raise finger on them who always share a bitter relationship with the Bachchans. Days after the situation calms down, perfectionist Aamir Khan has made a statement in favor of Maharastra. He replied: "I am a Marathi. I am born and brought up in Maharashtra. I am lucky for myself."

Aamir at the same time warned people to stay away from the political leaders who try to divide the country on the basis of religion, caste or community. Without pinpointing anyone, he remarked that politicians use people for their benefits. He appealed his friends to understand the tricky intention of the politicians and stay away from such notorious leaders.

Aamir has made this statement while speaking about his emotions regarding officially entry of his directional debut Taare Zameen Par. He has a lot of expectation about wining this prestigious award and is sure that the film would leave some marks at the event.
