Hrithik Roshan may make his Hollywood debut in Stephen Gaghan’s film
International filmmaker Stephen Gaghan who has made films like Abandon, Syriana etc and who has directed Hollywood actors like George Clooney, Matt Damon etc is now very keen to cast Hrithik Roshan in his film which will be based on a global issue. So it seems that Hrithik may finally make his Hollywood debut in a Stephen Gaghan film.
The international filmmaker was in India for location hunting for one of his projects when he saw a few Hindi films like Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Lakshya, Dhoom 2 etc and that is when he decided that Hrithik would be apt to play the lead role in his forthcoming film. The film’s script has been written by Ahsan Hyder who also met up with Stephen when he came to India. Stephen then selected the script of Kafir but he will change the title of the film. Scriptwriter Ahsan confirmed that he and Stephen had discussed several script ideas and that he liked the script of Kafir which was based on a global issue.
Hrithik’s dad, Rakesh Roshan also confirmed that Hrithik had been approached by international director Stephen Gaghan and said “yes, it’s true that Hrithik has appointed Brillstein Gray as his official agency for his international films and he has been approached by Stephen Gaghan for a film.” Hrithik has been concentrating on just a single film for several months now; he has been busy completing Ashutosh Gowariker’s epic film Jodha Akbar. On the personal front too Hrithik and his wife Suzanne are extremely happy as they are now expecting their second child. Hrithik and Suzanne were recently seen attending the star studded premiere of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya. There were talks that Hrithik Roshan was earlier, approached for the international film Pink Panther 2 along with Ash, however as he was not happy with the role, he turned down the film and the role is now being done by Andy Garcia.
