Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor walk out of ‘Shuddhi’

Hrithik Roshan has walked out of Karan Johar’s ambitious project 'Shuddhi' starring Kareena Kapoor in the lead. Health and personal issue is considered to be the main reasons of the hunk for stepping out of the project. Hrithik has issued an official statement where he has expressed his bad luck for not being part of this ambitious project.

"Karan Malhotra (director) and I have decided to unite in the most ambitious way post Shuddhi. For now, I cannot allow a vision like Shuddhi to stagnate any further. I had the finest experience as an actor working with Karan Malhotra in Agneepath and I'm sure that my dear Karans, Karan Johar and Karan Malhotra, are going to go beyond with this one. Shuddhi remains a part of me in spirit and I am sure it will be a landmark film in our cinema. I wish them all the best," The Times of India quoted Hrithik.

Kareena Kapoor too was unsure about starring in the project as it kept on delaying for indefinite time.

Hrithik’s walking out of the project might pave way for Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. Talks were on to sign either of the two actors for the big project. Deepika Padukone’s name is also up for the female lead but nothing has been finalized yet.

‘Shuddhi’ is a mammoth and a prestigious project and any stars would feel lucky to accept it.

Let’s wait and see who will grab this meaty project.
