On Tuesday, three suicide bombers opened fire in Istanbul's main international airport and then blew themselves up. Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildrim said the bombers appeared to have been Islamic State ((ISIS) militants.
"It became clear with this incident again that terrorism is a global threat. This attack, targeting innocent people is a vile, planned terrorist act," Prime Minister Yildirim told reporters at the airport.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed grief and condemned the horrific attacks on Twitter and wrote, “Attack in Istanbul is inhuman & horrific. I condemn it strongly. My thoughts are with bereaved families. May the injured recover quickly.”
