Hrithik, Kareena pair-up for ‘Mohenjo-daro’
Here is a good news for Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan’s fans. After the duo walked out of Karan Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’ , the possibility to see the couple on-screen again almost lost but now Ashutosh Gowariker’s mythological project ‘Mohenjo-daro’ has revived the chance. According to the latest grapevine, Hrithik and Kareena have been signed for ‘Mohenjo-daro’.
Says a source, “A lot of names have been doing the rounds as far as the lead actress in Gowariker’s next film is concerned. But Kareena has been finalised as the lead opposite Hrithik.”
The source adds that the makers feel Kareena is the perfect choice for the role as she fits the bill very well. “She has everything that Gowariker is looking for in his leading lady and it is a given that Hrithik and Kareena will look fantastic together on screen,” says the source.
The filmmaker’s spokesperson refuses to divulge any more details. “Ashutosh has been busy shooting for his upcoming television show and nothing has been finalised. As soon as we know more, we will tell you”.
Ashutosh Gowariker is happy that his dream project is finally taking shape, "I have been working on the script for the past two years now. I am glad that finally it is happening," Gowariker said here Tuesday at the first look launch of the film "Unforgettable".
Ashutosh has worked with Hrithik in ‘Jodha Akbar’ in 2008.
This is his second film with Hrithik after and he is really excited about it."I will be starting it in three-four months time. I am looking forward to it. It's Hrithik and me again after a long time. I am very excited and looking forward to it," said the ‘Swades’ director.
