The Roshan family has one more reason to celebrate, the addition of a new young member to their family. Hrithik Roshan became the father of a little baby boy on Tuesday, 28 March 2006. His wife Suzanne Khan gave birth to a baby boy at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai, India at around 3.30 pm.
It has been reported that both mother and child are in good health. Hrithik Roshan recently got back from Rio De Janeiro where he was shooting for ‘Dhoom 2’ to be by his wife’s side for the birth of their first child.
Hrithik Roshan came into the spotlight with his debut movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. This first movie was the launch vehicle of Hrithik Roshan, star son of Rakesh Roshan. Unfortunately, all his films after his debut were complete box-office disasters. He was hailed as a ‘failed hero’ but he resurfaced once again with his super hit film Koi Mil Gaya. The movie once again catapulted him to super star status and he received several awards for his performance as a retarded young boy in this film. Now with a sequel to Koi Mil Gaya which is titled Krrsh, this light-eyed hero anxiously awaits his fate in bollywood.
Hrithik Roshan married his college sweetheart Suzanne Khan in Bangalore on 20 December 2000. Suzanne Khan is the daughter of former actor Sanjay Khan, at whose health spa and resort the wedding was held. The wedding was a private affair and the media were kept at bay.
Recently Hrithik and his pregnant wife Suzanne were on a talk show called ‘Rendezvous with Simi Garewal.’ The show was a one-on-one interview with the actor and his wife. The episode revealed the personal lives of this young glamorous couple, the couple tells of how they met and fell in love and of how Hrithik proposed marriage. The episode reveals the romantic side of Hrithik as he shares the beautiful poems he wrote for his pretty wife, Suzanne.
