Heropanti: Watch Tiger Shroff grooves to ‘Whistle Baja’ song

Heropanti’ marks the debut of Tiger Shroff in Bollywood. It seems producer of ‘Heropanti’ Sajid Nadiadwala, wants to dedicate the first song of the film, ‘Whistle Baja’ to the flute players.

The song has the popular tune that flute players have been playing for many years now and also has been inspired by the original tune of Jackie Shroff’s debut film, ‘Hero’.

According to reports, Nadiadwala feels the flute players should be given credit for keeping the tune alive for the past 30 years, which otherwise could have been forgotten and hence he decided to dedicate it to them.

The song ‘Whistle Baja’ features debutants Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, which has been welcomed by audiences and industrywallas alike and it seems flute players should be praised for this.

In fact Nadiadwala has specially invited about 10 flute players to be a part of the launch of the song. The producer of the film is keen on honouring them for what they have unknowingly done.

It is sung by Manj and Nindy Kaur the song also feaures Raftaar, who has written the song. The music has been composed by Manj Musik.

According to reports, at the launch, Tiger Shroff was dressed in a white waistcoat-shirt showing his physique and blue denims, while the lead actress Kriti Sanon was dressed in a brightly coloured yellow dress.

The song may not be as appealing as the original tune, but is quite an upbeat number and the in-between use of the flute is very refreshing. While the song’s rustic Punjabi style plays on one’s mind the lyrics is catchy, as well. It also shows that the star kid can seriously dance.

One can hope that Tiger Shroff can act as well, since that is the only way he would be able to make a mark in the industry competing alongside such actors as Ranveer and Arjun.

The theatrical trailer of the film was launched on the official YouTube channel on April 5, by such industry biggies as Aamir Khan and Subhash Ghai and has been received very well.

Tiger is being portrayed as the next action hero in the making.

The actor plays Bablu, who is fighting for his true love, Dimpy (played by Kriti Sanon). The movie is being directed by Sabbir Khan. The Soundtrack for the film has been composed by Sajid-Wajid.

It is slated to release across theatres on May 23.
