... 'Muskaan', 'Shart' and 'Munnabhai M.B.B.S.' The actress with a girl next door look graduated from tele-serials to the silver screen. She began her acting career in serial "Amaanat" where she played the role of a Punjabi girl. Gracy found herself lucky as far as her career is concerned. Late Sanjiv Bhattacharya first spotted her and then offered her the role of dinky, bubbly Punjabi girl and later she was offered the role of Gauri in 'Lagaan'. Gracy hails from Delhi, as she recalls that her first brush with glamour came when she was studying in Hansraj College.

She left academics and opted for a career in acting. Gracy considers her brief one and half year in "Amaanat" as encouraging. This helped her groom as an actress. She did a variety of roles in films like 'Armaan' and 'Gangajaal', which were appreciated. Gracy Singh who played the village belle in 'Lagaan' was typecasted and was considered unfit for glamorous roles. She broke the myth by doing films like 'Shart' and 'Muskaan'. She looks vivacious in these films, which will be released soon. The spiritual side of Gracy is quite pleasing as she visits Gurudwara regularly and has interest in aromatherapy and Reiki. The artistic side is quite promising as she learns Bharatnatyam from Deepak Majumdar and is keen on learning guitar. The shy, soft-spoken actress has big plans for future.
