Golden Globe Awards 2009 in Pictures

A.R. Rahman made India proud when he won the Golden Globe Awards, for Best original music score for the film Slumdog Millionaire, His music score in the film has received praises and various other awards from across the globe. Rahman looked dapper and modest in a suit when he collected his award at the 66th Golden Globe Awards function.
Slumdog Millionaire is set and shot in Mumbai, it also has an Indian cast comprising newcomers Dev Patel and Freida Pinto along with veteran bollywood actor Anil Kapoor. The entire cast was present at the Golden Globe Awards and received a great deal of praise.
Our very own bollywood king Shahrukh Khan was also at the Golden Globe Awards and even presented an award. He was his charming best and talked about India's contribution and recognition across the globe. SRK too was all praises for Slumdog Milionaire due to it's Indian cast.
British director Danny Boyle won Best Director for his uplifting underdog film 'Slumdog Millionaire' which is set and shot in India along with an Indian cast. The film is based on a lad who belongs to the slum area and who goes on to a show and ends up winning a million rupees. The film also won the runner-up prize for Best Cinematography for Anthony Dod Mantle which was shot in India.
Hollywood glam was present in full force at the Golden Globe Awards and famous Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and his wife Angelina Jolie were also seen at the event. Both of their's films were nominated for awards, but unfotunately neither of them won any awards. Angelina looked as sexy as ever in greyish-silver shimmery dress.
Sexy singer Jennifer Lopez attended the awards in a sexy, deep neck gold dress and presented the Best Actress award to Kate Winslet for Revolutionary Road. Winslet also won the Best Supporting Actress award for her role as a suspected Nazi in The Reader.
