Frustrated Pulkit Samrat breaks furniture over ‘Junooniyat’ failure
Pulkit Samrat seems to have become frustrated. Just a few days ago the actor was spotted misbehaving with paparazzi at the Mumbai airport. Now reports have surfaced that Pulkit lost his temper and had a heated argument with the producers of his film ‘Junooniyat’ and even broke furniture.
The romantic drama starring his rumoured girlfriend Yami Gautam which released on June 24 tanked at the box office. It has performed poorer than Pulkit and Yami’s previous relaease ‘Sanam Re’, and the actor has blamed the producers for the failure of the movie. Pulkit felt that the producers didn’t promote the film enough which resulted in its poor show.
According to a report in SpotboyE, the producers of ‘Junooniyat’ and its lead actor Pulkit had a heated argument before a promotional event in New Delhi. The actor, who was seething in anger, stormed off in his room to get ready for the event. He spotted an elaborate Maharaja chair and flung it across the room to damage it. Pulkit then informed the hotel manager about the broken chair and pointedly asked him to collect the damages of Rs 50,000 from the producers.
Meanwhile, another popular entertainment portal got in touch with ‘Junooniyat’ director Vivek Agnihotri regarding the matter. However, the filmmaker expressed his surprise at the news, but admitted that Pulkit is a short-tempered fellow. Producer Bhushan Kumar also denied it saying, “No its nothing like that, there is no truth behind it.”
Perhaps, the makers of ‘Junooniyat’ were trying to hush up the incident.
