First Look: Salman Khan plays a soldier in ‘Tubelight’
Salman Khan’s next film ‘Tubelight’ directed by Kabir Khan went on floor recently. The first shooting schdeule was wrapped in Ladakh and the very soon the first look of the film was released. It shows Salman Khan plays a soldier. He donned the uniform of a soldier and walking along his troupe along sandy mountain line. He showed his back, carrying a gun.
On the eve of 70th Indeendence Day, Kabir Khan took the pride of unveiling the first look of ‘Tubelight’. Sharing the first look, Kabir also wished everyone a Happy Independence Day from the team of Tubelight.
Salman’s soldier avatar says the story is set in the backdrop of 1962 war between China and India at the Sino-Indian border. This is not the first time Salman Khan is playing a brave-heart soldier. He played soldier in ‘Jai Ho’ and ‘Heroes’.
Chinese actress Zhu Zhu has been roped in to play the leading lady of Salman Khan. Earlier, there were speculations that either Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif will be cast opposite the ‘Sultan’ actor.
Zhu Zhu appeared to be excited to be working with Salman and tweeted, “On top of the palace with Mr #Salmankhan @ Leh Ladakh.” She also shared several other pictures on her Instagram page.
Zhu Zhu is an established actress and has featured in Hollywood movies like ‘Shanghai Calling’ and ‘The Man with the Iron Fists’ and Chinese supernatural thriller ‘Last Flight’. She was also seen in Netflix’s Marco Polo and was a VJ of MTV China.
After ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, Kabir Khan is collaborating with Salman for the fourth time. ‘Tubelight’ is scheduled to release on Eid next year.
