Fire broke out at Akshay Kumarâ€™s cookery show
A minor fire broke out on the set of cookery game show "Master Chef India" on Monday but fortunately no causalities occured. Akshay Kumar was shooting a special episode with two special guests-veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor. Akki who is the host and judge on the show were outside the studio with Rishi and Randhir Kapoor when the incident took place.
"Fire broke on the sets of `Master Chef India` around 4:30 p.m. There was an electrical spark which caused a small fire and damaged equipment worth Rs.100,000. Luckily Akshay, Rishiji and Randhirji, who came as special guests, were outside," added the source. It was shot in Film City in Goregaon.
The cookery show encourages passionate cooks to groom their passion and become a professional. Akshay Kumar will judge the show with two other chefs Kunal Kapoor and Ajay Chopra. The show will feature 12 contestants and will be aired from Oct 16.
