Heroines making comebacks in Bollywood
The shelf-life of actresses was limited in the Hindi Film Industry. Once they crossed the age of 30, it was considered that their prime was gone. They were utilised only in supportive and inconsequential roles like that of a mother or sister.

Today, they are not only given pivotal roles in the films, they are also thought of having the capacity of carrying a film to being a blockbuster on their own. Hence there is a rise in the number of films like “Raaz 3”, “The Dirty Picture”, and “Heroine”.
