 Journalist turned script writer Suparn Verma, who has been associated with a number of talked-about projects such as QAYAMAT, CHHAL, YEH KYA HO RAHA HAI, ZAMEEN and JANASHEEN, is all set to slip into a new robe: Director.
Pritish Nandy's enterprising company P.N.C. will produce Suparn's directorial debut. In fact, Nandy
and his daughter Rangita deserve all credit for introducing a number of new talents: Sujoy Ghosh [JHANKAAR BEATS] and Kabir Sadanand [POPCORN KHAO! MAST HO JAO] in the recent past and Leena Bajaj [SHABD - the promos of the film are looking hot!] now.
Back to Suparn's directorial debut! The ambitious film will star Fardeen Khan and Bipasha Basu in the lead. To roll in January 2005, the film, an entertainer with twists and turns aplenty, will be shot in a 45-day non-stop schedule in Mumbai. Preetam [DHOOM] will compose the songs of the film that's tentatively titled BOSS. Await the official announcement!
