Farah Khan signs Katrina opposite Akshay

After dumping Shahrukh Khan and signing Akshay Kumar, Farah Khan has already raise doubts in everyone’s mind about her relationship with SRK. Now she added more spice to the gossip by casting Salman’s girlfriend opposite Akshay Kumar in her latest project ‘Tees Maar Khan’.

Says an industry source, "Farah has wanted to work with Katrina for a long time now. Apparently, when she was working with Shah Rukh on Happy New Year, she had Katrina in mind. But given SRK and Salman's relationship at the time, she decided against signing Kat. Now, she has no such hang-ups. Also she feels that Kat's chemistry with Akki would work like a charm for her film."

Farah was always interested to work with Katrina and when Akshay suggested her name, she readily agreed. The film will be a joint production by Shirish Kunder and Akshay’s production house.

But Farah says that she is still thinking about signing a suitable face opposite Akki, "I haven't approached anyone! Am still sorting out an avalanche of photos of new girls."

Katrina and Akshay’s combination was a hit at the box office.
