Aishwarya turns down Hollywood film with Will Smith
Hollywood star Will Smith is a brilliant actor and has proved so after receiving appreciation for several of his roles. Some time back, the Hollywood star Will Smith was in India and during his visit he gushed about top bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai. Ash apparently even met up with Will Smith and they discussed several future projects. But now sources claim that recently Aishwarya turned down the opportunity to work alongside Will Smith in a super hero flick, John Hancock.
However this is apparently not the first time that our bollywood beauty, Ash has turned down the opportunity to star opposite Will in a Hollywood film. Earlier too Ash had refused two films, Hitch and The Seven Pounds due to various reasons. But this time round Ash supposedly turned down the Hollywood project opposite Will as she was putting her new family, the Bachchans before her career. Ash confirms that she turned down two films with Will Smith; she says "That's true; I had to say no to Will for The Seven Pounds and now again for this film, John Hancock." However although Ash feels bad about turning down a film opposite the actor again, she feels that her reason is justified. Ash elaborates on the reason saying "The script reading for the film was just after Diwali, when dadima's (Teji Bachchan) health dipped. So I didn’t make that trip for the reading with Will. Is that wrong? Not to me. I'd any day put family over career."
However Ash seemed a bit upset with the Hollywood media as they had claimed that she had turned down a role opposite Will as she wanted to spend her first Karva Chauth in India with hubby Abhishekh. She rubbishes this reason and also snubbed the Hollywood media's words which stated 'that she preferred to return to Mumbai to starve herself for a religious occasion than to meet Will.' However Ash eventually did turn down the film saying "I couldn’t do it because of my schedules." However Ash does not feel that she and Will Smith are jinxed not to star together as thrice the opportunity has passed them by, but she optimistically says "When it has to happen, it will happen." Ash is also all praises for Will Smith, she claims that he is quite charismatic and adventurous as an actor and gives off very nice vibes.
