Ex-lovers Ranbir-Katrina reunite for a love song in ‘Fuddu’
Ex-lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, who broke up their seven-year-old relationship earlier this year will be reportedly reuniting for a romantic song in ‘Fuddu’. The movie is the directorial debut of Sunil Subramani, who has assisted filmmaker Anurag Basu on several films over the last 17 years.
The film stars new comers Shubham and Swati Kapoor in the lead roles while Ranbir and Katrina will have cameo appearances. "The duo will recite a romantic poem to steady the protagonist after his wife leaves him and his family disowns him," a source revealed to a popular daily. According to reports Ranbir and Katrina have already shot for their part.
The source further revealed, “And it's not just Ranbir and Katrina who are making a special appearance. In a first-of-its-kind turn, Sunny Leone will be grooving as Ranbir and Katrina recite their love ditty.”
‘Fuddu’ is said to be a quirky love story co-produced by Pradeep and Mahima Gupta, Pawan Kumar Sharma and Gandharv Sachdev. The story follows Benaras-born Mohan's emotional turmoil after he gets married and moves into a one-room house in a cramped Mumbai locality. The film is scheduled to release in 2017.
Meanwhile, Ranbir and Katrina will be next seen in Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ which they began shooting when they were together. After the duo parted ways, there was lot of awkwardness between them while shooting the remaining portion of the film. Ranbir and Katrina have been avoiding each other on and off the sets post their split. During the Moracco schedule, the duo travelled separately and stayed in different hotels.
The shooting of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has been wrapped up, but the promotions are yet to begin. According to a Filmfare report, the makers think that the media will give more importance to Ranbir-Kat's break up questions rather than the movie. It is possible that the actors may not promote the film at all.
