Ekta Kapoor in love with Sanjay Leela

Television tycoon, Ekta Kapoor is a great admirer of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and she has expressed her feelings for him and his films in the following words, “I'm in love with Mr Bhansali. I'm the greatest Sanjay Leela Bhansali fan in the universe. I've seen Devdas 3,000 times. It's the only DVD in my room.”

When she met Sanjay in Anil Kapoor’s house, she couldn't stop herself from praising him and his fabulous films. That, Ekta is a great fan of Sanjay is clearly viewed in her serials. Most of the scenes are copied from Sanjay’s films and Sanjay too feels the same. She is working hard on the quality and texture of her serials and wants to create the same magic like Sanjay's and Raj Kapoor's films.

Ekta is planning to expand her empire and planning to build her own film city at the outskirts of Mumbai near Thane so that she can shoot mythical 'Magic Hour' from the movies in her serials. She is soon going to start her two new serials on Sony Entertainment channel. This television queen wishes to make her serials much bigger.
