The children were taken out and a party was held for them with magicians, clowns, dance and music for their entertainment. Dia Mirza, Suniel Shetty, Kunal Kapoor and Esha Deol also attended the event to make it more special for the cancer affected children.
The stars were happy to be a part of the event and all of them were extremely popular with the kids. Actor Suniel Shetty said “I have been associated with the CPAA for 10-12 years and have been regularly spending time with the kids on their days out and at the Tata Memorial Hospital.” Dia Mirza was extremely happy to be present amongst the kids and she was also appointed as brand ambassador for leukemia patients, she said “It’s a responsibility I hope I can fulfill. A lot of kids out there don’t even know about Children’s day. If each of us makes a little effort, we could make a huge difference.” Actress Esha Deol was first introduced to the organization through her mother Hema Malini who has been associated with the cause for the past ten years. Esha says “I got to celebrate Children’s Day with these special needs children and it feels amazing to see them so charged up. I’m glad I got an opportunity to make them feel as special as possible.”

Kunal Kapoor also made it a point to drop in at the event after hearing about it from good friend Dia Mirza; he danced along with the kids and had a great time entertaining them. Kunal said “These kids relate a lot to the entertainment world we belong to, because it is really fun-filled. So as celebrities, if we do have an edge, I think we must make use of it completely and do as much as possible for their benefit.” All the actors were seen dressed in white shirts and blue jeans. The children were seen enjoying themselves dancing with all the celebrities and it seemed like they surely had a good time. Thanks to the effort of the organizers of the CPAA and these celebrities the children had an extremely happy and memorable Children’s Day.
