Delhi-based cartoonist KV Gautam refuses to contest in ‘Bigg Boss 10’
The controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ is set to return with its tenth edition. The show hosted by superstar Salman Khan will start airing by mid-October. For the first time ever, common people will get to participate in the show, alongside celebrities.
The latest update about the show is that the makers had approached a renowned artist to participate in the show, but he has rejected the offer.
Delhi-based cartoonist, author and motivational speaker KV Gautam was approached by the channel to contest ‘Bigg Boss 10’. Gautam is known for his philosophical and motivational talks at several prestigious organizations and has authored motivational book Impossible is Fun. Audience would have loved to see him in the Bigg Boss house, but the cartoonist has refused saying it didn’t “fit into his scheme of things.”
Gautam himself revealed this by posting a message on his Facebook page writing, “Surprised to be offered a role of a contestant in BIGG BOSS season 10. Though it may not fit in my scheme of things!”
Meanwhile, promos of the much-awaited show, featuring Salman Khan are already being telecast on the channel. It is said that this season, eight common people will share the house with six celebrities. The names of the contestants are yet to be revealed, but there are some prospective candidates like Santosh Bateshwar Ray, who was slapped by Govinda eight years ago and ‘MTV Roadies X4’ winner Balraj Singh Khehra, who might take part in the show.
Host Salman is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Tubelight’. He will return from his Manali schedule later this month and shoot for ‘Bigg Boss 10’. He will be shooting simultaneously for the TV show and the Kabir Khan directorial as well as Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.
