Deepika sizzles in white at Filmfare launch

A stunning Deepika Padukone arrived in an all-white top and white pencil skirt at the launch of the February 2014 issue of Filmfare magazine. Her red lips and blue necklace added grace to her looks.

On the other hand, Farhan Akhtar was looking great, too, in a casual black jacket and jeans.

Fahran and Deepika, winners at the 59th Filmfare awards for 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' and 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela' feature on the cover of the special awards issue of February 2014.

Deepika’s cover picture on the magazine is equally gorgeous, in a full-length dress by designer Gaurav Gupta, while Fahran looked a hunk, in a black suit and blue shirt.

Deepika and Ranveer Singh have avoided speaking about the rumors doing the rounds in Bollywood about her and co-star Ranveer Singh’s much spoken affair after their roles in Sanjay Leela Bansali’s 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela'.

At the event, looking stunning and confident she said, “Chemistry was relevant to the film at that time. What was important for Ranveer and me was to have a good chemistry in a film like 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela', which is an adaptation of 'Romeo and Juliet'. The film was a passionate love story, we needed that kind of chemistry and it worked for the film.”

She went on to add, “You cannot create chemistry. Also, a director cannot direct chemistry since it is something that actors bring to their characters and to the film. It lies in the comfort level they share. I believe they cannot create it.”

When asked about her future projects, Deepika answered, “It is too soon to say anything. I like to talk about the projects I am doing. It is unfair to talk about films for which things are not finalized since it leads to unnecessary reporting. It gets messy. Officially, I am doing my next film with Imtiaz Ali, which will have Ranbir Kapoor.”

The actor-director Farhan is looking forward to his next film 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects', directed by Sanket Chaudhary, featuring Vidya Balan. The film is slated to release on February 28.

Farhan, who has won much appreciation for his role in the film, 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', said he was having an exciting time in front of the camera and would continue to focus on acting.

“I am grateful to receive interesting roles and films. I am enjoying doing them. The next film that I am doing is with Zoya Akhtar (his director-sister) and, then, a film with Mr (Amitabh) Bachchan by the year-end,” Farhan said.
