Deepika to offer double maaza

After Om Shanti Om, sensational Deepika Padukone will again offer double maaza to her fans. She had made her first screen appearance in Om Shanti Om portraying double roles. And she is again getting ready for another double role. In Chandni Chowk To China, She will be seen playing two characters.

Chandni Chowk To China is Nikhil Advani's third offering after the success of Kal Ho Naa Ho and failure of Salaam-E-Ishq. In Deepika’s upcoming film, she will be seen doing lots of stunts and action. For those actions, she has undergone some training. She will play action hero Akshay Kumar’s leading lady. After a long hiatus, Akshay is making his comeback from comedy roles to martial arts and breathtaking action. That Deepika is playing a double role is confirmed by director Nikhil Advani. The film also stars yesteryears superstar Mithun Chakraborty.

Chandni Chowk To China is a new action-comedy and touted to be another big release of 2008. It is produced by Warner Brothers and Rohan Sippy. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have scored the music of the film. Kailash Kher and Bappi Lahiri have recorded songs in their voice. The cast and the crew is chaotically involved in the shooting of the film in China.
