Deepika to enjoy Ganesh Chaturthi with family

Her career has kept Deepika busy for three long years. She has been away from her hometown, Bangalore for quite a long time for films and modelling. Her family misses her a lot especially her five-year old younger sister, Alisha who is a professional golfer. Ganesh Chaturthi is round the corner and Deepika is eager to spend the occasion with her family. She says, "I've either been shooting out of the country or just been busy in Mumbai. It’s been a really hectic time for me. I haven't been to my home in Bangalore for three years.” Now for Ganesh Chaturthi Deepika will heads home to Bangalore. "I'm going home after three years. It feels really good."

She is trapped between family and beau Ranbir as the festival is extremely important at her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor's RK Studios but she is adamant to spend with her family. "Ganesh Chaturthi is also a very big event in my home in Bangalore. It's a time when my entire family including my sister, comes together. Or whatever remains of the family in Bangalore. A lot of my relatives are now in the US."

On being asked about her religious side, Deepika said, "I don't go to the temple every day. But my God is right here in my heart. I believe in a force. And that keeps me grounded."
