Deepika plays badminton with dad

Bollywood starlet Deepika Padukone has grown up seeing her father playing badminton. Even though she is a daughter of ace badminton champion Prakash Padukone, she has never picked up racket against her father openly. But recently, she played a friendly match with him to mark the occasion of Tata Open All India Badminton Tournament. It was lovely seeing the father, daughter duo playing the game with full passion.

Joining her at the occasion was her friend and Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan. Soha, who claims to be a state level badminton champion till class 10 too played a friendly game with Deepika. Speaking on the occasion, Deepika said, "I think the future of Indian Badminton is very bright. And I wish all the badminton players all the best."

As Soha got to pick up badminton after a long time, she expressed her happiness in the following words, "I haven't played the game at such a professional level before. It was great fun because I’m a great fan of badminton." Hope, very soon we get to see Deepika playing some nice stroke on the big screen too.
