Deepika Padukone says no to Anurag Basu

After the success of Om Shanti Om, Deepika Padukone became a star overnight. She has been swamped with many film offers. Deepika has got full confidence on her acting skills and is not at all interested to expose herself to grab quick success. She is dead against showing her body on-screen. That is the sole reason why Deepika had turned down offer from ace director Anurag Basu. His forthcoming venture includes loads of exposure and therefore Deepika had decided to say no to Anurag. 

Anurag Basu had not yet decided on the title of the film. If Deepika at some point of time changes her mind then she would get to work opposite superstar Hrithik Roshan in the movie. But there is no reason for her to panic on missing the opportunity from acting with Hrithik because she is going to pair with Hrithik in Krrish 2. Report is that she had also signed for Mani Ratnam’s next opposite King Khan. 

Today Deepika is the talk of the town because of the success of Om Shanti Om and also due to her romancing with Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh. There are many occasions where she was caught red-handed with Yuvi. Moreover, her name has also been linked with Indian stylish cricketer Mahindra Singh Dhoni.
