Deepika Padukone hugs ex-flame cricketer Yuvraj Singh
Gone are the days when exes hesitate to cross paths or see eye to eye. Now they are friends and no longer try to avoid each other in public gathering or events. They blend very well and greet each other warmly when meet. The latest example of perfect merge of exes is Deepika Padukone and cricketer Yuvraj Singh. At the recently held event, when the ‘Ram Leela’ actress meets Yuvraj Singh, she hugged him.
Few years back, Deepika Padukone and Yuvraj Singh was an item. The actress even hosted birthday party for the cricketer. After dating for few months, the duo drifted apart due to the batsman’s possessive nature.
At HT Most Stylish Awards show held last weekend in Mumbai. Deepika spotted him at the red carpet at the entrance and on spotting Yuvi, she promptly turned around to hug him before walking inside the venue. Yuvraj too responded warmly.
Deepika Padukone has few failed affairs in the past. She dated Ranbir Kapoor, Niraj Pandhya, Yuvraj Singh, Siddharth Mallya and now she is rumoured to be dating Ranveer Singh. But after so many heartbreaks, she is taking time off from forming any new relationships and concentrating on her blooming career.
Deepika said she has evolved as a very mature and understanding person today post her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor and she thanked the actor for that. She said she is completely ruled by her heart and she feels complete in a relationship. The long legged actress divulged that she cried a lot post break-up with Ranbir Kapoor and now she would not make any hurry to choose her partner.
"I am completely ruled by my heart, not just relationship wise but choosing films comes straight form my heart. For me being in a relationship is I think very important", Deepika spoke at India Today conclave event.
Padukone had a highly publicised relation with
Ranbir Kapoor but the two later parted ways only to reunite for their film 'Yeh
Jawaani Hai Deewani'.
She was also asked about her ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor and present boyfriend Ranveer Singh. The actress did not shy away from answering the questions.
“It made me realise I should not be so attached to one thing or a person - after the break-up the fact that I had to pick myself up. I cried a lot after my break-up. But I have become a better person and I thank him for that," said Deepika.
Deepika, who is ruling Bollywood at this present stage said that she knows how people are curious to know about at this stage she can’t blindly go for someone.
For the ‘Ram Leela’ actress being in a relationship is very important for her.
"But it has to be a beautiful relationship. A relationship that encourages you and makes you a better person. If it pulls you down or you start becoming someone that you are not it not a place to be in. And I have been in both," Padukone said today on the sidelines of India Today Conclave 2014.
When asked to comment on her relationship
with her rumoured beau and actor, Ranveer Singh, Padukone said, "I think I
am in a stage where I don't want to rush into something. For a young girl like
me it's very important to get to know someone, may be it also comes from the
fact that I dint want to go through heart ache again and you want to be sure
about the person that you eventually land up with."
