Deepika meets Ranbir’s family

After declaring publicly, it is almost decided that Deepika is Ranbir’s future. To strengthen the bonding, Ranbir has taken her to meet his family, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and sister Riddhima. Deepika dies over Ranbir’s style and attitude but after meeting his family, she is quite impressed with them too.

She holds a high esteem for Kapoor’s family since childhood. She was a die-hard fan of Rishi uncle (that's how Deepika addresses Rishi Kapoor) and grew up watching his movies. She found Rishi Kapoor an amazing actor and saw Karz and Kabhi Kabhi number of times. When Ranbir took her to meet his parents, Deepika’s childhood memory about Rishi Kapoor freshened up.

Deepika is full of praise for the Kapoors way of upbringing their children. "They are brought up like normal children and not like a celebrity. Both Ranbir and his sister Riddhima have been brought up with the right values. They come from such an illustrious family and yet they're so down-to-earth” said Deepika. She sees many similarities between their upbringing and hers. Deepika’s meeting with her would be in-laws is very positive. Though wedding bells are far to ring but everything has been settled.
