Deepika grooves at Marrakech International film festival
Deepika Padukone, along with Sanjay Leela Bhansali was present at the Marrakech International film festival in Morocco. It was a starry night with some of the big names from Hollywood and Bollywood.
Deepika Padukone was looking glamorous in her mustard colored gown. Even with minimal make up and accessories, Deepika looked classy. The unicolored gown complimented her lean figure. Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika introduced the first film of the festival, ‘Goliyon Ki Ras Leela – Ram Leela’.
As Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika introduced the film, Deepika showed a few signature dancing steps from the movie. This left her fans wanting for more. Gracefully, Deepika moved her curvaceous body amidst loud clapping and hooting from the audience. This was the 13th edition of Marrakech International Film Festival. It started on 29th November and will last till 7th December.
Deepika’s co star from the movie, Ranveer Singh was not present at the film festival as he was busy shooting for ‘Kill Dil’.
The prominent names from Hollywood present at the festival were Sharon Stone, Patricia Clarkson and director Martin Scorsese amongst several others. Sharon Stone received a lifetime achievement award. The festival paid a tribute to the actress. Sharon Stone looked beautiful in a black key hole gown.
As Martin got up to present the award to Stone, he asked audience, “What is the definition of stardom, not fame, but true stardom?”
“I am grateful, humbled and honoured to be here to receive this award at this particular time in history”, Stone said after receiving the award.
Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani and French actress Marion Cotillard are also on the jury get together. They stroked a pose with Martin Scorsese. Marion looked beautifl in a monochrome gown. Patricia Clarkson chose to wear a sunshine yellow strappy gown. She had teamed it with metallic stilettos.
Anurag Kashyap, who is known for his movies ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘Bombay Talkies’, ‘Gulaal’ and ‘Dev D’ among others, was also a member of the jury team at the International Film Festival. Anurag chose to wear Indian outfit at the festival. He wore a black bandhgala and churidaar.The other members of the jury include Italian filmaker and screenwriter Paolo Sorrentino, Mexican director Amat Escalante, Director Martin Scorsese, Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani, Moroccan film director Narjiss Nejjar, French actress Marion Cotillard, US actress Patricia Clarkson, South Korean film director Park Chan-wook, and German film director Fatih Akin. The president of the jury is Martin Scrosese.
