Case filed against Salman Khan for smoking

Bollywood actor Salman Khan is again in news for another wrong reason. A case has been filed against the actor for smoking in a public place by a voluntary organization based in Chandigarh. He was caught lighting a cigarette inside a train bogie while shooting at Kurali railway station in Mohali.

"We have registered a written complaint against both of them with the Railway Protection Force Wednesday. A private news channel has the clippings of the actors while smoking at a public place," Hemant Goswamy, chairperson of Burning Brain Society, said.

"He has violated the provisions of section 4 of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003. Besides, he has also violated the section 167 of the Railway Act that prohibits one from smoking at the railway station or inside the rail bogie," Goswamy said.

Recently, Ajay Devgan was also caught red-handed for smoking at Chandigarh airport.
