Case filed against Big B

After Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan, it's now the Shahenshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan roped in smoking controversy. Bombay High Court on Wednesday sent a legal notice to the megastar for violating the anti-tobacco laws in Goa. A non-government organization (NGO) has filed case against the actor for violating the law. A huge poster of Amitabh with a cigar in hand displayed on the highway of the state has compelled the organization to take this drastic action.

Goa-based anti-tobacco NGO has not only taken action against Big B but drag the electric appliances company Anchor also to the court. Anchor in order to advertise their product used Amitabh's smoking pose from the film Family.

All the accused had challenged the issuance of the notices before the sessions court but Anchor is still to come forward. The sessions court has taken over the charge from all, except Anchor.

Ajay and Salman was also fined for violating the smoking rule in Chandigarh.
