Cannes 2013: Frog, duck meat served to Vidya at lunch


Vidya Balan is surely having a great time at the 66th Cannes film festival but one thing she might not be liking is the food served over there. Vidya is one of the jury members of the Cannes film festival and she had her lunch with all the jury members and was treated with grand five course lunch which are none of Vidya’s taste. She was served with frogs and duck meat at lunch.

Well trained chefs, well dressed staffs served the members who shared the table with Vidya Balal.  Steven Spielberg, Nicole Kidman, Lynne Ramsay, Vidya Balan, Naomi Kawase, Ang Lee and Daniel Auteuil had lunch with the ‘Kahaani’ actress and they were treated with Fricassee of Frog & Clams with Foam Shell, Granita Lemon Marmalade Citrus Limoncello, Bresse chicken breast, leg ravioli with foie gras, Traou Mad Biscuit Rum Victoria White and Pineapple, Roasted Coconut Ice Cream & Lollipop Chocolate Rum Meringue.

Vidya Balan flaunt Indian style and tradition at the event. She was dressed mostly in saree by her favorite designer cum friend Sabyasachi Mukherjee's creation.

Well, the other members are used to those cuisine but we are wondering if our desi Vidya have liked the dishes which are far different from Indian palate.
