Sonakshi to act with brothers Luv, Kush
Veteran actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha’s three children, daughter Sonakshi Sinha and two sons, Luv and Kush, have come together to make an ad film. The commercial is produced by Luv and Kush is the director which features Sonakshi. The advertisement showing a real-estate brand is now on air produced under the banner of Shotgun Movies.
Kush, who always wanted to direct ad films, has assisted such directors as Sanjay Leela Bhansali with ‘Saawariya’ and Abhinav Kashyap with ‘Besharam’ and ‘Dabanng’.
“Our team developed the ad completely in house, from the initial conceptualisation to execution and delivery, while keeping the client involved in the process on a creative level. Sonakshi’ fans have liked the ad a lot,” Kush was reported saying.
Kush, was recently heard commenting in support of his sister against Kareena Kapoor Khan’s “housewife” comment on ‘KWK’ show. Kush defended Sonakshi saying, “There’s nothing wrong in being a housewife. Haven’t we all seen our mothers as housewives?”
Luv made his Bollywood debut with ‘Sadiyaan’ in 2010.
It seems Luv wants to make sure his next movie is a hit, which is supposed to be an action-packed one since he was seen taking stunt training workshops in Hong Kong, and reportedly said the experience was amazing.
“Hong Kong is a city of action. Everyone is on the move and there is a lot of energy in the air. I was happy to be in a city where some of my favourite movies and actors are from. The opportunity to train there in the action and stunt workshops has been an amazing experience,” Luv was found saying in a statement.
“Their stunts, the action techniques are very different and that makes it an enriching experience to learn all I could during my time there,” he added.
Sonakshi, on the other hand, made her debut in the Hindi film industry with ‘Dabangg’ in 2010 opposite Salman Khan, which went on to become the highest grossing Bollywood film of the year.
She earned positive reviews for her performance, and won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. After this, she was seen in some of Bollywood’s hits, including Rowdy Rathore, Son of Sardaar and Dabangg 2 in 2012 and R... Rajkumar in 2013.
The actress also received applause for her role in Lootera released in 2013.
Sonakshi began her career as a costume designer, for films such as ‘Mera Dil Leke Dekho’ in 2005, and was seen walking the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week in 2008 and also in 2009.
