The industry buzz is that Sujoy Ghosh, whose ‘Kahaani’ took the box-office to a height, is ready for his next movie ‘Durga Rani Singh’. But contrary to expectations that he would sign his favourite ‘Kahaani’ star Vidya Balan once more for his next film, has now signed Kangna Ranaut because of Vidya’s alleged pregnancy.
Aamir denies reports accusing him of ‘forcing’ neighbours out of their houses
Actor Aamir Khan does not seem to have been able to impress everyone with the good work he has been doing for the society through his popular TV show, ‘Satyamev Jayate’.
According to reports, Aamir faced opposition from some residents of the Virgo Housing society in Mumbai who objected to his proposal to redevelop the society in Bandra.
But, Aamir in a statement issued by the PR agency of his talk show has denied all blames that he was using pressure tactics on the housing society.
The actor in his defence also said that he left the building almost a year ago, after a slab of concrete fell on one of the members. The statement also pointed out that meetings of the general body were held in favour of re-development.
Harshvardhan all excited at John launching him in Bollywood
Harshvardhan Rane, a popular Telugu actor, is making his Bollywood debut with John Abraham’s upcoming production ‘Satra Ko Shaadi Hain’. The actor reportedly said he was excited about his launch in Bollywood.
“I’m excited as well as pleasantly surprised to have got this opportunity to be launched in Bollywood by John, who is known for introducing new talent. He did that in ‘Vicky Donor’ and has continued with his latest project,” Harshvardhan said while talking to a news agency.
Ranveer Singh to endorse a condom brand
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is known for his boisterous nature and he never shies away from anything. According to latest reports, he has agreed to endorse a condom brand. While most stars stay away from such endorsements, Ranveer feels that promoting safe sex has good effects on the social front.
Media reports quoted a source as saying, “Ranveer always prefers to tread a different path. He knows how to exude confidence and attitude. A combination of all these factors, plus his growing popularity, made him a suitable choice for the brand. The actor loves attention and knows how to get it - be it through his mannerisms or his comments. The brand feels that his cool dude image will be an asset to their campaign.”
