Bollywood keen to produce more 3D movies


Hollywood has released a series of amazing 3D movies over the recent past, which has mesmerized the movie goers all around the world giving them an entirely new and captivating experience. Inspired by the huge success of the English 3D movies and subsequently a hit 3D movie by Vikram Bhatt, Bollywood is now ready with its own plethora of movies set to give the movie buffs an exhilarating experience. Following are some of the upcoming movies that are going to follow the 3D way –

This ambitious project of Shahrukh Khan is reported to be in 3D format. The movie, which features Kareena Kapoor in the female lead, is already complete and is posed to release this Diwali. Currently, it is undergoing some post production work, including a game based on the movie. With the kind of effort and money being put for the movie by SRK, it is expected to make a big diwali blast at the box office.

Produced by Farhan Akhtar, DON2: The chase continues is the sequel of his earlier movie DON: The chase begins. The prequel of the movie was a huge hit and the director is trying to cash on the success of the same and make it larger this time. It is decided to convert the movie to 3D format, though it will introduce some delay in the movie schedule. The movie hits the theater on 23rd December.

Joker, the movie is not only set to be released in 3D, but it will be the first Indian movie which is shot entirely with 3D cameras. The movie has a good star cast of Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Shreyas talpade and Minisha Lamba in the leading roles. "It is an underdog story about how individuals make it big in life and in the process, get help from aliens from a fictional planet"- says the director Shirish Kunder.

After “Haunted”, Vikram Bhatt returns with another 3D venture, which is the sequel to his earlier two movies named Raaz and Raaz2. After working in “Raaz”, Bipasha Basu returns to the Bhatt camp with this movie.Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandes make up the rest of the cast.

With these flicks lined up to entertain the Bollywood movie goers, it seems that the technology fever has finally gripped the entertainment industry of our country which surely will provide more entertainment for us to relish upon.
