Bipasha steps into Zeenat Aman's shoes

The search of Rohan Sippy’s female lead for his film, ‘Dum Maro Dum’ finally ends up with sexy Bipasha Basu. She will be the sex quotient of the film and will star opposite Telugu star Rana Daggubati. To be shot in Goa, the film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Pratik and Aditya Pancholi. Bips role in the film is said to have resemblance with yesteryears actress Zeenat Aman in ‘Hare Krishna Kare Rama’.
Conforming about Bipasha’s presence, Rohan said, “Yes we have signed Bipasha for the film as she fits the character perfectly.” Reacting to reports whether Bipasha’s character is modeled on Zeenat Aman played in Dev Anand’s Hare Rama Hare Krishna, he said, “Zeenat Aman is my all time favourite and I hold her in high esteem.
There is no one who can be like her but yes, Bipasha has sex appeal and connects well with the audience. But the film has nothing to do with Hare Rama Hare Krishna, except elements like gangsters, drugs and the fact that it is set in Goa.”
Kangana Ranaut was the first choice of the film but she has declined the offer due to the presence of her ex beau Aditya Pancholi.
