Bipasha Basu may star in international film Quick, Slip Me a Bride

Although Aishwarya Rai may be the only actress in bollywood who has managed to break into international films and has done quite a few, it seems now Ash may have some tough competition. The buzz around town is that Bipasha Basu may soon star in an international film, Quick, Slip Me a Bride. The film is reportedly a comedy and Bips will star opposite several international stars.
According to sources, Bipasha will play an NRI who lives in New York along with her family in the film. The film will be directed by Raza Mallal. The story revolves around Jack, whose suffering from heartbreak as he was in love with a Catholic Priest. Under pressure from his family he agrees to get married but only to stay away from becoming a priest. Jack finally agrees to get married to an Indian girl (Bipasha). However now Jack has a difficult path ahead as he has to learn the Indian culture, food and even the Indian language, Hindi before he can tie the knot. Bipasha will reportedly star alongside international actors like Ross Kemp, Robert Hardy, Amanda Holden, Karen Shenaz David etc. Anupam Kher will also be playing a pivotal role in the film; he will be seen playing Bipasha's father in the film.
Anupam confirms that he is a part of the film and about Bipasha being in the film, he says "As far as Bipasha is concerned, I am aware that they were supposed to meet her. However I have no idea if she is doing the film." Bipasha however was not reachable for a confirmation. Meanwhile Bipasha's international agent is Simone Sheffield who is also Ash's international agent. It's no doubt then like Ash, Bips too is ready to take on the international scene. Bipasha will also be seen in a few bollywood films this year, there's the multi-starrer Race, her art film Pankh etc. Bipasha first made an international appearance when she hosted 'The Seven Wonders of the World' along with Hollywood actress Hilary Swank in Portugal.
