Bipasha Basu, Karan Singh Grover to host MTV’s ‘Love School 2’
Newly married couple Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu has been reportedly roped in to host the second season of MTV’s reality show ‘Love School’. The first season of the dating show was hosted by ex-couple Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel.
“Bipasha and Karan were the only couple to be approached for the show. Talks had been on for a while and the makers received a positive response recently. We are now waiting for the duo to return from their Bali vacation to complete the formalities,” a Mumbai Mirror report quoted a source close to the channel as saying.
The source further added, “Auditions calls for contestants will be announced in a week’s time. The show is most likely to be shot in Goa.”
The dating reality show features couples who are facing trouble in their relationships who get counselling from the hosts who help then rekindle their love and build trust by giving them various tests and games.
The first season of the show which was quite hilarious, went on to be highly popular and the winners received a holiday trip to Puducherry. But ironically, soon after the show wrapped up, Karishma and Upen also broken up.
Some days back, there were reports that the ‘Alone’ stars have been receiving several offers to work together and a producer had also approached them. Bipasha had confirmed the news saying that that it would very interesting to host it with her husband.
Meanwhile, it won’t be for the first time that the couple will be working in a television show. While Karan has already worked in television dramas like ‘Dil Mil Gayye’ and ‘Qubool Hai’ and others, Bipasha had also debuted on the small screen with a horror series titled ‘Darr Sabko Lagta Hai.’
