'Bigg Boss' to generate more than 90 crores

Colors channel is back with its high profile reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ in its seventh season. With its host as superstar Slaman Khan, the first show of ‘Bigg Boss’ will be aired on 15th September.

With this show, it is estimated that the channel will earn revenue of 95 to 105 crores.

Telecom giant Vodafone has been roped in the show as a presenting sponsor for the fifth time. Vodafone has been the sponsor for five consecutive years. Industry sources have revealed that the Telecom company has vented out Rs.25 to 30 crores to be in the list of sponsors for the show. The show will run for 104 days.

Apart from this the market experts have also pointed out that the non fictional serials are more engaging for the viewers and they also respond better to the marketing techniques employed. Such serials also offer marketers and brands tangible results for their marketing techniques.

The seventh season of ‘Bigg Boss’ is called ‘Saath 7’. On Wednesday, salman Khan launched the seventh season of ‘Bigg Boss’ in Mumbai. Salman was dressed in black and looked in a good mood. To everyone’s delight he also performed on ‘Dabangg’ song.
