Big B, SRK pay tribute to 26/11 martyrs
Who can forget the black day of 26/11 where innocent people lost their lives? Just one year after the incident, people of Mumbai pay tribute to the martyrs. Bollywood stars paid their homage to the victims in their own way. Among them were Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan. Shahrukh paints red the wall at Marine Lines at 12.30 am to pay tribute to the heroes and victims of 26/11. He was joined by BJP spokesperson Shaina N C and Mumbaikars from different walks of life.
Whereas Amitabh Bachchan sung the song 'Ungli uthe to, koi bare to, kardegi bagawat' written by Subbu and sung by 15 singers Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kunal Ganjawala, Kailash Kher, Roop Kumar Rathod and Hariharan.
He wrote on his blog, “Ugly scenes on the TV mar the daily and collective morals of a nation that witnesses the outcome of the 26/11, looming large within a couple of days. But we must not bend, we must not turn back and we must not stop — in this our relentless pursuit for those that sacrificed their lives for us”.
