Big B sends food to Dimple at Aashirwad
Rajesh Khanna passed away and all the rituals are over but close ones and friends are rallying the Khanna’s bungalow ‘Aashiward’ to know the well-being of the family and also lending support during this difficult time. The Bachchans who are very close to Rajesh Khanna, Dimple and their two daughters, Twinkle and Rinki are doing all they can to support the family.

Saturday, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan visited Dimple. They were seen
leaving Aashirwad. The Bachchan family extends full support to Rajesh Khanna’s
family. Amitabh Bachchan informed that they are sending food to Khanna’s residence as
according to Hindu rituals the family of the dead not allowed to cook till the
13th day. Big B on his blog wrote, “The rituals are over. Food from
our house has been sent to Dimple, his wife, at his house Aashirwad, where she
plans to stay till the terahvein, the 13th day is over.”
Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were present at the crematorium. They braved
the huge traffic to reach the crematorium. The crowd meted with a lathi charge
when Big B and Abhishek decided to cover the short distance to the crematorium
on foot due to huge traffic. The crowd went berserk on seeing their favorite
star on the street. Big B later wrote on twitter,” The funeral of Rajesh Khanna
was poignant and crowded .. the crowds were in throngs,with scant respect for
the situation .. pity !!(sic)”
