Big B rushed to hospital

Amitabh Bachchan hurt himself during the shooting of Sujoy Ghosh’s Alladin at Mehboob Studios yesterday and immediately rushed to the hospital. He was doing some action sequences when he complained of severe back pain and right away he was taken to Lilavati hospital.

He did not require hospitalization but underwent various tests and was given several dosage of medicines. Instead of taking rest, Big B returned to the set and resumed shooting like a true professional. This is the second time that he was hurt on the set of Alladin while doing a stunt. Big B confirmed the incident and said that he had got little relief from his back pain and would complete his crucial work.

Amitabh Bachchan is playing a spirit in Alladin. The film has lots of stunts and the director wanted to recreate the magic of Zanjeer and Deewar in this film. He has also played a similar character in his upcoming flick Bhootnath. In Bhootnath, he is playing the role of a ghost who is a close friend of a child. Juhi Chawla will also be seen in a pivotal role. It is almost ready to hit the silver screen.
