Big B, Jaya celebrate 41st wedding anniversary
Bollywood’s first couple, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan completed 41 years of blissful married life and son Abhishek Bachchan took to twitter to wish mom and dad on this glorious day. He tweeted with a photo of his parents, "My parents' anniversary today. 41 years and still going strong! Love you guys."
Big B and Jaya are not together on their special day
but the megastar tweeted that their hearts are together.
“In a few minutes June 3, marriage anniversary .. 41 years !!,” the 71-year-old superstar tweeted and added, “Devoid of any celebration, devoid of presence, just devoid .. Wife away out of country, children travelling ..but hearts together !”
Big B also thanked his fans for wishing him on his wedding anniversary.
“And to all that wish for the anniversary .. many thanks for the wishes .. love all of you ..” he wrote.
Amitabh Bachchan is presently busy shooting for director R. Balki’s next film ‘Shamitabh’ while Jaya is on vacation with daughter Sweta Bachchan and grandchildren Navya Naveli and Agasthya.
Jaya and Amitabh worked together in blockbusters like ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Abhimaan’, ‘Chupke Chupke’, ‘Sholay’, ‘Silsila’ and ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’.
