'Besharam' brings Neetu and Rishi Kapoor together again

Abhinav Kashyap made a grand entry into Bollywood in 2010 with “Dabangg”. However, in 2012 Arbaaz Khan replaced him in the film’s sequel. This led to a series of controversies regarding this replacement.

Abhinav Kashyap’s brother, well-known director Anurag Kashyap even hauled accusations at Salman Khan. He took to Twitter saying “Salman Khan thinks he made my brother's life. Hope he does the same for Arbaaz when he does Dabangg 2. All The Best.”

Arbaaz Khan retorted to this, tweeting, “Instead of GRATTITUDE some people show ATTITUDE. Wah kya zamana aa gaya hai. Time will tell. Kabhi asliat ko bahar aane mein time lagta hai.”

Leaving behind the blame game regarding the replacement Abhinav seems to have moved forward. His next film is “Besharam” that stars the rising star Ranbir Kapoor. Latest on this venture states that Ranbir’s parents too have been approached to do a decisive role in the film. Also what will be worth watching is that the two will not be playing Ranbir’s parents in this film as might be expected. They have been given the roles of Haryanvi cops. Interestingly, Neetu Singh has been offered the loud character whereas, Rishi’s character is mellow.

Sources close to this venture even revealed that Neetu Singh was offered this role only when Abhinav found the role meaty and fit enough for a star of that stature.

An insider has claimed, “Recently, he narrated the script to her and she was game to be part of the film. Ranbir is very excited since this will be the first time he will share screen space with his mother, whom he is extremely close to.”

Abhinav Kashyap also has revealed that he had always wished to work with Rishi Kapoor. Getting an opportunity to work with Neetu Singh also for the same project has been an unbelievable development for Anurag Kashyap.

A source divulged talking about Rishi Kapoor, “He liked the story and his part in the film. Abhinav thought of casting Neetuji in the movie later, after he was sure that the role was substantial enough to offer her.”

The film will go on floors pretty soon and Ranbir will be joined by his parents after a little while. Neetu Singh still has not read the script but will be doing it sometime soon.

Abhinav Kashyap had been contacted, asking for a confirmation on the recent developments, however, he did not revert back.
