Belgium model Debbie’s dress slips off

On Friday, Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) had witnessed a bizarre scene when walking the ramp, Belgium model Debbie’s top left portion of her dress slipped down from her shoulder, exposing her bare body to the vast audience.

In the mid-way of the ramp when her dress got slipped off, Debbie maintained silence, pulled her dress and completed her round. Backstage, when Debbie was asked about the incident she said: “It happens. I can’t do anything about it.” Debbie was wearing the costume designed by Rajesh Pratap Singh. Later, the models complained that the dresses were too loose for them and lacked proper fittings. They further blamed the designer for not giving them the scope to trial. However, Pratap Singh was unavailable to comment on the entire issue as he was in Paris for the musical Padmavati.

This is not the first instance of fashion malfunction. Two years back, model Carol Gracias had also undergone similar situation when her dress slipped down in the witness of large audience at the Lakme India Fashion Week (2006). We can say that history of malfunction repeated in the Wills fashion show.
