Bebo, Sri, Preity to clash at the box-office
Three leading ladies of Bollywood are going to lock horns at the box-office; Kareena Kapoor’s highly awaited film ‘Heroine’, Sridevi’s ‘English Vinglish’ and Preity Zinta’s ‘Ishq In Paris’. All the three films are special in their own way.
‘Heroine’ is Madhur Bhandarkar’s dream project as lot of hopes and aspiration are attached to it. The film speaks about the rise and fall of a actress and how she battles against the odd circumstances. Gauri Shinde's ‘English Vinglish’ will see the return of the ruling lady of 80’s Sridevi back to the silver screen after 14 years. ‘Ishq In Paris’ is equally crucial for the bubbly actress Preity as this is her production debut and after a big gap, she is again back.
It is said that all the three films will hit the theatre on
21st September. Madhur Bhandarkar has declared that ‘Heroine’ will
release on Kareena’s birthday. Eros international is now considering the
release date of ‘English Vinglish’. According to a source close to the
production house, Eros is now looking for an early release."They want to
postpone the release of English Vinglish by
two weeks," said the source. However, Gauri Shinde's husband R Balki said
everything is going 'as planned'.
‘Heroine’ is supposed to release a week earlier but Bhandarkar’s sudden change of plan to release the film on Kareena’s birthday has put Bebo to lock horns with Preity and Sridevi.
"Eros may announce a new release date soon," added the source but it is almost sure that Preity’s ‘Ishq In Paris’ will release with ‘Heroine’.
Let’s see who rock at the box-office.
