Barfi!, Vicky Donor sweep major Guild Awards 2013

Star Guild Awards 2013 aka Apsara Awards was held in Mumbai Yash Raj studio on February 16, Saturday evening and the great talents from Bollywood and TV were honored. Barfi! and Vicky Donor sweep maximum awards, Sujoy GhoshKahaani’ also won many awards. From TV, Ram Kapoor and Sakhi Tanwar from Sony Entertainment Popular serial ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’ won best Best Actor and Actress (Drama) for the ongoing Drama series.

The main attraction of the Guild Award was the host of the show, Salman Khan. Salman has been in the industry from decades but for the first time he has donned the host hat and he entertained the audience with his charm, great sense of honor and style.

”Everybody gets nervous when you do something for the first time, even I am nervous,” he told reporters at the red carpet. ”I just thought… let’s try… how it feels to host (such functions). It is a very difficult thing, you have to remember many things, listen properly to others and not get carried away,” he said.

Salman Khan looked hot and handsome in black suit. He won the heart of the audience with his spontaneity and one liner jokes.
