Lara not a part of Bachchans' Unforgettable tour

Lara Dutta who had earlier confirmed to be a part of the Bachchan family's 'Unforgettable World Tour' will no longer be a part of it. The event was unveiled at the IIFI last year and the highlight was to be the three Bachchans, Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya. Along with them, Bipasha, Lara and Ritesh Deshmukh were also supposed to be part of the tour. However now Lara has opted out of the event. 

Sources claimed that even actor Akshay Kumar had earlier been approached to be a part of the Unforgettable tour, but as the actor had demanded a huge fee, the deal did not work out. The Unforgettable concert is supposed to take off in mid 2008 with Ash, Abhi, Amitabh, Bipasha, Ritesh and Shamiak Davar's dance troupe. Lara Dutta has confirmed that she will no longer be a part of the Unforgettable tour saying "I have injured my knee and my doctors have asked me not to strain it any further. I am also doing a film titled Blue that has a lot of action sequences. But going for the tour and then coming back to shoot for Blue will only aggravate my knee problem. I do regret withdrawing from the Unforgettable tour." Lara apparently needs to rest her knee completely for a while and get well soon as she has to perform plenty of action sequences in Blue. Hence she did not want to strain herself out by doing the Unforgettable tour and hence decided to opt out of it.  

Unfortunately the organisers seem to be in a fix, as Lara has opted out and all other actors seem to have their date diaries full. Nonetheless the organisers, Wizcraft are trying their level best to find a replacement for Lara at the last moment. Perhaps the Bachchans who share a good rapport with many actors can come to their rescue; after all it's almost like their own family tour.
