'Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?' answer on April 28

Come April 2017 and the question that has been boggling movie buffs for a long time will be finally solved. Why Kattappa killed Baahubali will be revealed on April 28 next year when ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ will be released.

Karan Johar, whose company ‘Dharma Productions will present the second part of the epic film, took to Twitter on Friday to announce the release date of the film. “@ BaahubaliMovie The Conclusion releases on the 28th of April 2017 @arkamediaworks @Shobu_ #Prasad @dharmamovies,” he wrote.

Karan’s production house had also presented ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ in collaboration with AA Films, Arka Media Works and others. The filmmaker said that he is proud to be associated with director SS Rajamouli again. "Dharma Productions and AA films are honored and proud to associate once again with the genius @ssrajamouli 's vision,” he tweeted.

The multi-lingual ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ which hit theatres on July 10, a week before Eid last year, had broken several records in the history of Indian cinema. It has also won the National Film Awards this year.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of the second part, and the makers had said that ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ will be out by this year, but it seems that the process of its making is taking a little longer.

SS Rajamouli has been busy with the shooting of the film, which features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah, among others. After the super success of the first part, expectations for the second part have doubled. The first part had incorporated impressive and stunning VFX, which was a major highlight of the film. The director had said that the second part of the film will be even bigger and grander in every aspect.

Reportedly, the climax of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ will feature a huge war sequence, much grander than what was shown in the first part, that will last for around an hour.
