Bollywood stars celebrate Raksha Bandhan; wish fans
The entire nation celebrated the featival of Raksha Bandhan and our Bollywood stars also joined them. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Randeep Hooda, Priyanka Chopra, Shraddha Kapoor and several others wished their siblings and fans on the occasion.
Aamir Khan wished everyone in general and tweeted, “A very happy Raksha Bandhan to everyone. Love. a.” Big B retweeted a fan’s post who shared a childhood picture of Abhishek and Shewta, and wrote, “sister and brother love .. Shweta and Abhishek ..”
Abhishek took to Instagram and posted a black-and-white picture of him and Shweta and wrote, “Always know I got you. I love you. My world, growing up and today, is a better safer happier place for having you in it #rakshabandhan.”
Farhan Akhtar posted a collage of two photos of him and sister Zoya Akhtar on his Instagram page - one was of their childhood and another a recent one. He captioned it, “Love you Zoya.. Always have. Always will. #happyrakshabandhan.” He also shared a selfie with Zoya, along with the other fun siblings Farah Khan and Sajid Khan and tweeted, "Sibling bond time... together Rakhsha Bandhan... Farah Khan Sajid Khan and Zoya."
'Sarbjit' actor Randeep Hooda shared a picture of him with his sister Anjali and Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur and tweeted, "A very #HappyRakshaBandhan to both my sisters @Anjalihooda and #Dalbir ji. Don't worry I'm there."
Like the ‘PK’ actor, Shahid Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi posted generic messages. “Happy raksha bandhan to all. Show the ladies some respect boys. They sure are the stronger ones,” wrote Shahid, while Emraan tweeted, “Wishing everyone a Happy Raksha Bandhan. But no rakhis for me please!”
Salman Khan too celebrated the festival with his sisters Arpita Khan Sharma, Alvira Agnihotri and Shweta Rohira. Shweta shared a picture of her with Salman whose wrist is full of Rakhis on Instagram. She captioned it, “Big brother can read your mind, hear your heart and love you just the way u are #rakshabandhan.”
Soha Ali Khan shared a picture with her elder brother Saif Ali Khan on Instagram and wrote, "Happy Raksha Bandhan brothers and sisters! Look after each other #rakshabandhan.”
Sunil Shetty also shared a photo with his sisters Suj and Sumi which was photobombed by his nephews Shane, Rohil and brother-in-law Bharat during Raksha Bandhan celebration. He wrote, "Blessed ...Sisters Suj, Sumi...Photo bombers nephew Shane, Rohil n half way there brother in law Bharat! #rakhshabandhan."
‘Hero’ actor Sooraj Pancholi called his sister Sana his “strongest support” and tweeted, “Meet my strongest support!..Happy Rakhi to all the brothers and sisters out there! #HappyRakshaBandhan.” He also shared a picture of him with his sister.
Tiger Shroff also wished his sister Krishna and tweeted, “The source of my superpower...my sister #windbeneathmycape #HappyRakshaBandhan.”
